The Nublet and The Niblet have possibly the best view of Mount Assiniboine in the park. This classic triple lake view overlooks Cerulean Lake, Sunburst Lake, Sunburst Peak, and Lake Magog.

Sunburst Peak is a short, fun, third class scramble from Lake Magog Campground with great views of Mount Assiniboine and surrounding peaks and plenty of routefinding.

A hike and camp at Og Lake with a beautiful sunrise hike to Cave Mountain and then back to Lake Magog Campground.

A short off trail scramble up a scree slope to Windy Ridge provides a great viewpoint of the Assiniboine area.

A lengthy bike and hike from Kananaskis through Banff National Park to Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park and Lake Magog

This scramble/hike brings you past Sunburst Lake, Cerulean Lake, and Elizabeth Lake before experiencing the perfect view of Mount Assiniboine and Sunburst Peak from the entire ridge traverse.

Taylor lake is an easy hike from the Trans Canada Highway right before Moraine Lake. The hike travel mostly through a dense forest before a beautiful view of the lake at the end. The meadows and O'brien Lakes are option (but wonderful) add ons.

Day trip from Spray Lakes to Mount Sparrowhawk with an add on of Read's Tower, both are tough scree hikes or easy scrambles with great views of the Spray Valley.

Bobac Mountain from a bivy at Lake Alice. This overnight trip is a remote scramble that utilizes the Dolomite Creek Trail and Helen Lake Trail for access.

Lake Alice is a remote alpine lake in the Banff backcountry accessed via a good trail that passes by Helen Lake and over Helen Ridge, which then ventures over Dolomite Pass and into more rugged terrain. We bagged Cirque Peak, Watermelon Peak, and Bobac Mountain on this trip as well.

Cirque Peak is one of the best hikes/easy scrambles on the Icefields Parkway, located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The trail passes by the famous Helen Lake and the summit provides fantastic panoramic views of Bow Lake, the Wapta Icefield, and the remote Banff wilderness.

Observation Peak is a classic Icefields Parkway scramble with some of the best panoramic views you can get. We tagged on an exploration to its the Observation Peak Outliers, one of which is now nicknamed Charlie Peak.

Stoney Squaw Mountain (possibly known as Stoney Lookout Mountain or Snow Peak) is an easy and short hike from the Norquay parking lot that allows for some intermittent views of nearby peaks such as Cascade Mountain, Sulphur Mountain, and Mount Rundle.
